We’re a small family run company growing a range of fruit and vegetables on our smallholding on the edge of the Mendip Hills in Somerset. We’ve been providing a weekly organic box scheme to households in the Bristol area since 1996.

Over the years we have tried to keep our delivery scheme as simple as possible. We have kept our prices as low as we can while suppling good quality food as local and fresh as possible. In 2008 we moved to Holly Croft in Winscombe, where we grow as much as we can in our 2 acre field. How’s how our box scheme works:

Why Organic?

BETTER FOR WILDLIFE

Organic farming significantly reduces water and soil contamination, meaning wildlife can thrive. Organic farms are havens for wildlife and provide homes for bees, birds and butterflies.

HEALTHIER ENVIRONMENT

Intensive farming tends to causes soil erosion and chemical run-off into water systems from the use of pesticides and herbicides. This is of course bad ecosystems and waterways.

PROTECTING OUR SOIL

Our practices work from the ground up, enhancing soil life developing a healthy, fertile soil and growing a mixture of crops in rotation. Soil is a non-renewable resource; its preservation is essential for food security and our sustainable future.

Where we deliver

Our farm is situated at the foot of the Mendip Hills in North Somerset. We deliver in the Bristol area and south towards Winscombe. If you aren’t sure if we come to your area, give us a call or email and we’ll let you know.
